✖Guy Bourdin portrait for French Vogue
instead of reading, or really doing anything at all (but, i hate saying that. i mean, it is something), i sat with my orchid colored pen in front of my face bringing it in and out of focus with my eyes. i then photographed the scene a few times to most accurately, but really most beautifully (imho), share the experience later with anyone reading or scrolling by and this is often how a blog post is made and how i miss out on really learning or accomplishing anything some afternoons (although, again, i hate saying that because surely/hopefully i have accomplished something here)
daaaamn, this one is still making rounds.
Those are my knees tho!

I have an old piece where for $1 I think about people for one minute. I send two emails. One when I start thinking, and one when I stop. This is an open edition.

DESIGNER – NATSUMI ZAMA
Natsumi Zama’s fashion designs are inspired by traditional Japanese clothing, and her most recent work entitled “2 -> 3” explores the transition of fabric from two-dimensional to three-dimensional forms. Each garment, when laid flat, looks as though it is mounted on a large expanse of square fabric, but when worn on the body this backdrop transforms into sweeping folds that dress the figure in pleats and fluted shapes.
